What Is A Disciple?

A convert is someone who accepts another person's teachings, but a dictionary definition of a disciple is "one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another." Keep in mind that Jesus commands every follower to make disciples (Matt. 28:19).

A disciple is:
1. One who follows. (Matthew 9:9)
2. One who is willing to deny himself. (Matt. 16:24)
3. One who is a fisher of men. (Matt. 4:19)
4. One who continues following.(John 8:31)
5. One who love for others. (John 13:35)
6. One who is in the process of growing to be like his Master. (John 20:21)

Reminder Passages To Those Who Are Hurting Others

I have been so down and hurt these past days knowing the people you are taking care of were not repaying the same thing you are treating them. Since I am upholding my being a christian, I just took it all to God but it was so hard of course to control the tears if you were badly hurt. What I did? I just knelt down on my knees and ask God to help me and opened this passages in: Proverbs 16:5 that goes.."The Lord hates those who are proud. You can be sure He will punish those." Proverbs 16:23 - "Wise people always think before they speak, so what they say is worth listening to." Proverbs 17:13 -"If you do wrong to those who were good to you, you will have trouble the rest of your life." Matthew 7:12 - "Do for others what you would want them to do for you. This is the "Golden Rule" To those who are victims of emotional abuse, read these passages and ask God for help. He is my source of help and the thought that "God loves me", helps me moved on each day.

Our greediness so often destroys integrity, friendship, care, dignity and often troubles us, making us run after so many things at the same time, makes us formulate different version of stories to each person and our bosses without the knowledge of the other person or your friend, make unreliable reasons, that while us too, eagerly look after the least, we miss the greatest and tend to forget our main objective for a good purpose.
